A passionate and experienced property investor, Andy drives Asset Living forward, working with investors, his property management team and other stakeholders, to provide a win-win for all those involved.

For as long as he can remember Andy has had a passion for both the creative and the technical. After the completion of his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Southampton University, Andy went on to study for a Masters in TV Production in Falmouth, before working for high end TV production companies in London.

Moving away from TV production and into technology, Andy joined the Sky plc Technology Graduate scheme in 2012, working across the business in a variety of roles, eventually taking up a role as project manager on products such as Sky Go and Now TV.

It was at this time he joined forces with Jonathan and they set up Asset Living Ltd. With pensions not providing the same level of income they once did and determined to take control of their own future financial security, Andy and Jonathan purchased two rental properties in Southampton, to get a great return on their own funds and to create a steady income.

Following this success, Andy went into the business full time in 2016, building a successful property company 'The Rooms Group', managing HMO (house in multiple occupation or multi-lets where houses are rented by the room rather than as a whole) rooms across Southampton in addition to their own.

Andy with Jonathan have invested significantly in their property eduction and expertise spending tens of thousands to be mentored by the best property business coaches in the country.

JONATHAN BARNETT

Jonathan is a highly experienced people manager, property developer and investor, providing Asset Living with the skills it needs to grow.

Jonathan first caught the property bug growing up on TV programmes like property ladder, he went on to study the built environment and studied construction & property management at one of the UK's top construction universities. That experience came into it's own when he bought his first property in his mid twenties, 10 years ago.

With his first property Jonathan rented out the spare bedroom to a lodger, quickly realising the benefit of having cash come in each month which required no time or effort to earn the seeds were sown for building a passive income property portfolio. 

​Since then, through investment in his own education and joining forces with Andy they have managed to build up an owned portfolio of properties worth in excess of £2,000,000 in addition to a guaranteed rent business (Rent-2-Rent) based in Southampton. Since starting their journey 5 years ago, they now have over 50 tenants and are continuing their mission to create quality homes for young professionals in Bristol.

Having seen the power of investing in property, the security, cash flow and capital gains that it can bring, they have now expanded their business to offer exciting partnership opportunities with private investors. Their ethos was that they'd rather pay interest on funding to friends, family or individuals than corporate entities. This has been a tremendous success with half a million in private fund loaned last year and more in the pipeline. 

Jonathan along with Andy are proud to host Berkshire pin (property investors network) in Maidenhead, Berks on the 3rd Monday of each month.
